Receipt images are securely stored in your account so you can access them later.

When you upload a receipt, the image is processed to identify information such as:

Although we continually improve our AI models, extracted information may occasionally contain errors. Users should review and edit receipt information where necessary.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your information, including receipt images and shopping records, is securely stored as part of your HomeBasket account.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to help protect your information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

While we take reasonable steps to secure your information, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

We may share your information only with trusted service providers that help us operate HomeBasket, including providers of:

Our staff and administrators do not access your personal grocery records, receipt images, or shopping history, except when explicitly required to troubleshoot a technical issue you have reported or to comply with applicable legal obligations.

In such limited cases, access is strictly controlled, logged, and limited to the minimum data necessary to resolve the issue. Access is only granted for the duration of the support or compliance need.
